Our land, our nature 2023 (online): A congress to decolonize conservation

“Our land, our nature” is an international conference to discuss how to #DecolonizeConservation. The conservation industry is moving to turn 30% of the world into “Protected Areas,” and falsey claims that “Nature Based Solutions” will solve biodiversity loss and climate change. This alternative conference will expose these as colonial and false solutions to these crises, and as approaches that destroy the best guardians of the natural world: the Indigenous Peoples who safeguard 80% of biodiversity.
